The Wallis EDC is a Type B Economic Development Corporation governed by a seven-member Board of Directors. Funding is provided by a dedication of 0.5% of the city’s sales tax revenues, which is reinvested to support local businesses and drive economic growth.

Our professional team is here to assist businesses, developers, and land buyers in finding ideal sites for commercial and residential development.

Incentives & Opportunities

Wallis EDC provides programs to help businesses thrive, including:

• Business Assistance Grants: Encouraging downtown vitality through visually appealing and sustainable improvements.
• Tax Abatement: Incentives for expanding existing businesses or relocating new businesses, with eligibility starting at value added as low as $50,000.
